This is a rough local estimate based on how many signals returned distinctive, non-blocked values. It is not a precise score and nothing is compared against any external database — the estimate never leaves this page.

Blocking cookies is not the same as being untrackable. Sites can identify a browser by combining small technical details, canvas rendering, WebGL details, installed fonts, timezone, screen size, into a fingerprint that is often unique without a single cookie involved.

This checker runs every one of those probes locally and shows you exactly what they reveal, along with a rough estimate of how unique your combination is. Nothing is sent to a server. The whole point of the tool is to show you your own exposure, honestly, without adding to it.

Questions about browser fingerprinting

Is my browser being tracked?
Possibly, and not necessarily by cookies. This tool shows you the same kind of technical signals a tracking script could read, so you can judge your own exposure.
Does incognito mode protect against browser fingerprinting?
Not much. Private browsing mostly stops local history and cookies from persisting. Canvas, WebGL and font fingerprints look largely the same whether or not you are in private mode.
What is canvas fingerprinting?
It is a technique that draws hidden text and shapes to a canvas element and reads back subtle rendering differences between devices, which can be enough to identify a specific machine.
What does a high fingerprint uniqueness score mean?
It means more of the signals this tool checked returned distinctive, non-default values, which makes your particular combination easier to pick out of a crowd. It is a rough local estimate, not a precise score.
