Midjourney Permutation Prompt Generator

Paste a prompt with brace groups and expand it into every combination, with support for both Midjourney commas and Stable Diffusion wildcard pipes.

Runs in your browser · nothing uploaded

Use {a, b, c} for Midjourney-style commas or {a|b|c} for wildcard pipes. Combine several groups and every combination is generated. Nested braces work too.

0 combinations
Type a prompt with a brace group like {sunrise|sunset} to see every combination listed below.

This midjourney permutation prompt generator takes a single template and multiplies out every variation it contains. Write a group like {red, blue, green} or {red|blue|green} and it produces one finished prompt per option, so you can batch a whole set of variations instead of retyping them by hand.

It is a prompt permutation expander and a stable diffusion wildcard generator in one. Add several brace groups and it builds the full Cartesian product of {a,b} prompt combinations, nested braces included. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing you paste is uploaded, and you get a per-line copy button plus a copy-all for the entire list.

How it works

  1. 1

Write your prompt with brace groups

Type or paste a prompt and wrap each set of choices in braces. Use commas for Midjourney syntax like {red, blue, green}, or pipes for wildcard syntax like {red|blue|green}. You can put several groups in one line.

  2. 2

    See every combination

As you type, the tool expands your groups into the full list of prompts and shows the total count. Multiple groups multiply together, and nested braces are handled, so you get each unique variation on its own line.

  3. 3

    Copy what you need

Copy any single prompt with the button next to it, or copy the whole list at once to paste into Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, or a batch queue.

Questions about prompt permutations

How do I generate every permutation of a Midjourney prompt?
Put each set of options inside braces separated by commas, for example a {red, blue} car at {sunrise, sunset}. The tool multiplies the groups together and lists all four finished prompts, one per line, ready to copy.
Does it support Stable Diffusion wildcard syntax with the pipe character?
Yes. A group written as {red|blue|green} is expanded the same way as commas. You can use the pipe style favored by Stable Diffusion prompts or the comma style used by Midjourney, whichever you prefer, and mix them across different lines.
What happens with multiple brace groups or nested braces?
Multiple groups produce the full Cartesian product, so {a,b} and {x,y} in one line give four prompts. Nested braces such as {a {1,2}, b} are expanded from the inside out. To keep the output usable, results are capped at 2000 and a note tells you the full total if you go over.
Is it free?
Yes. It is free with no sign up, and it runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you paste is uploaded or stored.
