A Gantt chart turns a project into a picture: each task as a bar on a calendar, so you can see what runs when and where things overlap. The trouble is that most tools for making one want an account, a subscription, or a whole project-management app you do not need for a single chart.

This one is just the chart. Type your tasks and their dates into the table and the timeline draws itself, scaled to your dates with a marker for today. When it looks right, download it as an image for a slide or a doc. Your tasks are saved in your browser and nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. 1

    List your tasks

Add each task with a start and end date, and pick a color.

  2. 2

    Watch the timeline build

The chart draws a bar for every task on a dated axis, scaled to fit your schedule.

  3. 3

    Download the image

Export the finished Gantt chart as a PNG to drop into a slide, a doc or an email.

Questions about the Gantt chart maker

Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign up. You type your tasks, the chart appears, and you can download it. Your task list is saved in your browser on this device.
Can I show progress on a task?
Yes. Set a percent complete on a task and its bar shows a filled portion, so a schedule can double as a simple status view.
What image format do I get?
The download is a PNG, which drops cleanly into slides, documents and email. The chart is drawn to scale so the export stays sharp.
Is my project data uploaded?
No. Everything is built in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. Only you can see your tasks, and they stay on this device.
