QR code tools

Make and read QR codes for links, WiFi and contacts, right in your browser.

A QR code is just a link, a bit of text, or a WiFi login packed into a square. The tools here build one from what you paste in, style it with your colours or a logo, and read one back from your camera or a saved image. Bulk mode handles a whole list at once.

The codes are generated on your device, so the link or password you encode is not sent anywhere. A WiFi QR code with your network password in it never leaves the page, which is the whole point of making it locally.

Questions about the QR tools

Do the codes expire or need an account?
No. These are static codes: the data is baked into the square, so they work forever and need no account. Nothing phones home when someone scans.
Is the data I encode sent anywhere?
No. The code is built in your browser, so a link or WiFi password you encode stays on your device.
Can I add a logo or change the colours?
Yes. You can style the code with colours and drop a logo in the middle, within the limits that keep it scannable.
Are they free?
Yes, free with no account or watermark, paid for by light advertising.
