How it works
- 1
Add your subscriptions
Enter each one with its cost, how often it bills and a category. Add a row for every plan you can think of.
- 2
See the real total
Every plan is converted to a monthly figure and summed, so a yearly plan sits alongside a weekly one honestly.
- 3
Find the drains
Scan the category breakdown and the biggest-drains list to spot what to keep, downgrade or cancel.
Instant & 100% private — nothing is uploaded
Every calculation runs locally in your browser. The income, balances and goals you enter stay on your own device and are never sent to a server — nothing is stored, logged or shared.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I add up subscriptions billed at different rates?
- Convert each to a monthly cost first: a weekly plan is the price times 52 divided by 12, a quarterly plan is the price divided by 3, and a yearly plan is the price divided by 12. Then add the monthly figures. This calculator does that for every row automatically.
- How much does the average person spend on subscriptions?
- Most people underestimate it, often by a wide margin, because small monthly charges and annual renewals are easy to forget. Listing them in one place usually surprises people. The total here is whatever your own list adds up to, not an average.
- Why show both a monthly and a yearly total?
- The monthly figure is easy to feel against your budget, while the yearly figure shows the full commitment. A $15 plan is $180 a year, and seeing that larger number is often what prompts a cancellation.
- What counts as a subscription to track?
- Anything that recurs on its own: streaming, music, cloud storage, software, gaming passes, news, gym and fitness apps, meal kits and memberships. If it renews without you actively buying it again, it belongs on the list.
