Color Picker

Pick a color and read it back as HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV and CMYK. Sample any pixel on screen with the eyedropper, then copy the value you need.

A color picker online lets you choose a color and read its code in every format at once. Drag on the picker, type a value, or use the eyedropper to pick a color from the wheel or the screen, then copy the HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV or CMYK you need, so it works as an HTML color picker or a fast way to get a colour's hex code. Recent Chrome and Edge can sample any on-screen pixel. It runs entirely in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

What formats does the color picker show?
Every pick shows HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV and CMYK at once. For example #7C3AED reads back as rgb(124, 58, 237) at the same time, along with the raw R, G and B numbers and the nearest color name.
Can I pick a color from anywhere on my screen?
Yes, in browsers that support the eyedropper. Click the sample button, then click any pixel on screen and its color drops straight in.
Does the eyedropper work in every browser?
The screen eyedropper works in recent Chrome and Edge. In other browsers you still get the full picker, sliders and value readouts.
Are my colors private?
Yes. Nothing is sent anywhere. The picker runs entirely in your browser and keeps no record of the colors you pick.
