Word Cloud Generator

Paste any text and turn it into a word cloud, where the words that appear most often are drawn largest. Choose a colour theme, set how many words to show, and download the finished cloud as a PNG image. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing you paste is uploaded.

This word cloud generator reads a block of text and draws the words by how often they appear, so the most common word is the biggest one on the canvas. It is a fast way to see the gist of survey answers, reviews, meeting notes, an essay or a speech at a glance. Common filler words like the and and are dropped so the cloud shows what the text is actually about. Pick a colour scheme, adjust the word count, reshuffle the layout until you like it, and download a clean PNG to share.

Frequently asked questions

How does the word cloud decide word sizes?
It counts how many times each word appears in your text and scales the size to that count, so the most frequent word is drawn largest and rare words are smallest. Very common filler words such as the, and, of and to are removed first, because they appear everywhere and would otherwise dominate the cloud without saying anything about the topic.
Can I download the word cloud as an image?
Yes. Once the layout looks the way you want, use the download button to save it as a PNG. The image is drawn on a canvas at a high resolution, so it stays crisp in a slide, a document or a post.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole cloud is built in your browser with JavaScript, and the text you paste never leaves your device. That makes it safe to use for private feedback, internal notes or anything you would rather not send to a server.
